Classes #37-40: Drawing A LOT! My Siamese Cat Portrait (Stan Winston School Diary #21)

Stan Winston School is the best thing you can do this pandemic, learning, aka. self brainwashing yourself in skills, from the comforts of your bedroom. This session’s lessons last month were portrait illustration, digital drawing, and monsters. Good times were had.

Over several hours, I sat in the garden weeks ago drawing this pet portrait of Sheila. This music chick, yours truly, is finally getting better at drawing. Thank you, instructors!

These classes are as valuable as you make them. Practice your new skills all you can away from “school.” Immerse yourself. Make it fun. I am, and it’s working pretty awesome!

At the moment, I am improving at drawing live creatures and need to work on drawing fictional beings with detail. Cannot wait for the rest of my classes this weekend! FX school is one of the best work decisions I have ever made.
