I Love Outdoor Geckos

This guy is thinner than a No. 2 pencil and his eyes have no way of measuring how tiny they are.

I see him regularly with another friend of his. They hang out eating insects and who knows what else. Feeding them is tempting until you learn they feast on insects. Escaped crickets running around? No thanks.

For now, I’ll admire their beauty whenever I head outside and say hello to my ... little friends. Sorry, I had to.

I tried petting this little one. He ran off. Attempt number five(?) stroking his little forehead like a kitty has yet to succeed. Maybe it won’t happen. He stares at me whenever I talk to him like I’m saying the most interesting thing ever said. It’s only when I try petting him he gets scared. Oh well.
